    Dr. Shawn Evette Johnson is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon from Houston, TX, practicing since 2008. She holds degrees in Exercise and Sports Science and Biology from Southwest Texas State University and earned her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Johnson served nearly ten years in the U.S. Army as a commissioned officer and orthopedic surgeon, including two combat deployments. After her military service, she completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. She has worked in Greater Houston for the past several years and now runs a direct specialty orthopedic practice that provides mobile care.
