If you told me back in 2010 that Black Swan would end up being one of my new favorite movies of ALL TIME, I would’ve called you a liar AND filed a hate crime for thinking I was gay! 😂

But goddamnit, this classic checks off EVERYTHING I look for in a movie:

- drama ✅

- suspense ✅

- visuals ✅

- twists & turns ✅

- a story that makes sense, evolves, changes ✅

- and STILL slaps you with an ending from outta nowhere!! ✅ 💯

…all wrapped in the Brunette Trifecta of Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, AND Winona Ryder!! THERE IS A GOD!! 😂

How did what could’ve been a basic ballet story turn into something THIS layered and unhinged? Would an actual ballerina watch this like: “Yep, that’s my life. Nailed it.” ?? HOW DOES ANY MAN WATCH NATALIE PORTMAN AND MILA KUNIS GOING AT IT FOR MINUTES NOT WALK AWAY FEELING BETTER ABOUT LIFE IN GENERAL???
