In observance of domestic violence awareness month. This week’s episode we are going to break down the stereotypical dysfunction of relationships through the means of the once intoxicating Twilight series. My wonderful cohost and I will destigmatize what a healthy relationship is. We will break down where Twilight encourages toxicity and emotionally abusive relationships at a young and impressionable age. It’s been well over 10 years, since we were long obsessed and misguided to adore the series. Now as two survivors of domestic abuse and violence, we discuss what a healthy relationship should look like. We will not be discussing anything trauma or trigger relating outside of this movie series.
