À propos de cet audio

Growing up with food insecurity, Julian Napoleon yearned to be a farmer. A farm offers stability and the "ultimate form of connection to a place." His great-grandparents once farmed the land on the Saulteau First Nations reserve in northeastern B.C. But when it disappeared, so did the philosophies Julian’s great-grandparents lived by. Five years ago, Julian moved to Amisk Farm to bring it back to life. IDEAS producer Pauline Holdsworth takes a tour of the farm which produced food for over 300 Indigenous households this year free of cost.
