In this first Soul Travel episode, I’m beginning with a simple whisper: it’s time to go for a walk. A whisper that led me across northern Spain on a five week pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago.

In this story, I share the early steps of the journey, walking from Roncesvalles through villages, plains, and historic towns steeped in beauty, resilience, and deep cultural memory. From ancient Celtic pathways to Roman roads still carrying pilgrims today, the Camino reveals history beneath every footstep.

You’ll hear about the peaceful stretches of Navarra, the vibrant streets of Pamplona, the Romanesque grace of Queens Bridge, the wine fountain at Irache, and the quiet companionship found in small hostels (Albergues) and village squares.

Alongside the outer journey, I reflect on my Saturn rising line in astrocartography and the inner call to presence, strength, and self awareness. One step after another, the Camino becomes an initiation, an awakening of the heart shaped by the land and those who walked before us.
