    Jul 22 2025
Is your mindset quietly holding you back from career growth and fulfillment? Or is it something worth paying attention to because it helps you reach the next level? Also because “a belief is a belief, it’s not a fact, it’s not necessarily true.”Tamara shares her experience feeling unsatisfied, dealing with “dream catchers” and being surrounded by strong leaders.Dr. Mike opens up about facing self-doubt and limiting beliefs as he got selected to be one of the Thunderbirds, as well as when he walked away from his corporate job, and all the “benefits” attached to that position. For Tamara, having an entrepreneurial spirit doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to be a full-blown entrepreneur like Elon Musk or people of that caliber. Powerful words from Tamara: “pay attention to what you’re thinking and remember that, just because you’re thinking it, it doesn’t mean it’s true or even helpful!“Tamara and Dr. Mike name a couple of books that can be valuable resources when it comes to overcoming limiting beliefs.Dr. Mike touches upon a “trap” your subconscious can easily fall into, as well as the role of mantras and visualization, citing a few examples of very successful athletes. In a snippet, Allen Paige of The Entrepreneur’s Source shares his experience with overcoming limiting beliefs and really finding his place and calling.“Once you actually start down the road of true self-discovery, that’s when you’re really able to create a life by design, instead of living a life by default,” says Dr. Mike.
