Indie Comics Creator Con (IC3) Showrunner Matthew Sardo and Program Director Jamie Jones switch roles as hosts of the podcast What Is Comics?. Together, they delve into the world of indie comics, exploring the creators behind the stories and striving to deepen their understanding of the medium’s unique power and artistry.

This week, they had the pleasure of interviewing the talented cartoonist Chris Anderson. The conversation dives into Chris’s creative process, his journey through the comics world, and what fans can expect from him at IC3.

Chris is an artist/writer and storyboard artist. He is the co-creator of LOST ANGELS, SPECTRAL, and CHAOTIC NEUTRAL. His stories have been serialized in the pages of Heavy Metal and other publications. He drew the 0 Issue of CREEPSHOW with Greg Nicatero, as well as the comic shots for the TV show. He has boarded shows like INSECURE and THE PENGUIN.
