Surveillance video shows Sanchez climbing into Tole's truck, blocking his phone, shoving him. Tole pepper sprayed, then stabbed Sanchez multiple times in self-defense. Both hospitalized with serious injuries. Tole's face slashed through his cheek—missed his son's wedding. Sanchez fired by Fox, faces felony battery, trial delayed to March 2026. From Rose Bowl MVP to criminal defendant.

Then Trump took office and pardoned nearly 1,500 January 6 defendants on Day One - including people convicted of assaulting police officers. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned. FBI says Crooks' motive remains unknown.
