 RJ Studio brings you a new podcast series called 'Mohabbatein - The Stories Behind The Artists'. Now, when you hear this title for the first time, you might ask yourself: What is Mohabbat? Mohabbat is a term that means love, but not just simple love, it means the love of a lifetime. It encompasses all types of love, whether it be romantic, or towards art, or towards an idea, and the stories that stem from someone’s love is what brings our show to life. The word 'Mohabbatein' sums up our series in more ways than one. The reason for that is that this series shines a spotlight on artists throughout history, spanning across generations. In this series, we learn about the lives of these artists, we put on their masks and look at the world through their eyes, learning about their ups and downs, their successes and their failures, their muses, and their motivations. We get to see what truly inspired these artists, whether it be the love for their craft, the love for another person that inspired them, the heartbreaks in their lives that came from love lost, or the love for the idea of creating. When we boil down to it all, the core emotion that is left behind is love or more aptly put, 'Mohabbat' and hence the name 'Mohabbatein'. In the nineteenth episode, we are introduced to an artist known as Chitralekha, whose otherworldly beauty was only matched by her talent in her craft of song and dance. Her name was infamous across the kingdom of Patliputra and she had people from all over the country vying for her attention, even generals and kings. One such king who was interested in her was Beejgupt, who had been bewitched by Chitralekha's art and beauty. In his passion to pursue Chitralekha, he started to forgo his teachings from his teacher Ratnamber, and even started ignoring his royal duties as well as ignoring his fiancee Yashodhara. This led to people in his court start to plot his downfall, but will his feelings for Chitralekha reach her? Will Chitralekha reciprocate these feelings?
