  • Chapter 9: Comicpalooza Podcast Program 2024 Childhood Books
    May 18 2025

This is another show I did last year for Comicpalooza in Houston. I talked about childhood books and phenomenon from every generation going from millennial (mine) to baby boomers (my parent's generation). I did not talk about just the good books, I talked about the controversial ones too like Fifty Shades of Grey and Flowers in the Attic. This is a little example of what you can expect if you decide to come to my show. Thank you ahead of time for listening and please let me know in the comment section on what you think. Thank you.

  • Chapter 8: Compicpalooza Women's Panel 2024
    May 10 2025

I know it is a year later, but I had the most amazing opportunity to do a women's panel in Houston, Texas at Comicpalooza. To do something like this in my home state was such an honor. We spoke about Star Wars, misogyny in podcasting, banned books, and domestic violence. These women are incredible so please go support their podcasts.

  • Chapter 3: First Book Review for Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan
    Oct 14 2023
I am doing my first book review like I promised in my first episode. It is not your normal book review. This is more personable. We are going to review the author, the author's history, a quote from the book or author, promote the author's other books, and ask how it relates to your life. Just remember we sometimes read books based on personal experience whether we realize it or not. Stay inspired and keep reading, my bookworms!

  • Chapter 2: Why Libraries Are So Important!
    Aug 19 2023
It was originally on my list but it has come to my attention that Houston Independent School District has recently decided libraries and librarians are not important anymore. I discuss why it is a bad idea with statistics to prove why libraries are important, the history of libraries in the US and the world and presidential libraries.
