Michelle is the creator and host of the Complex Kids, Simple Solutions podcast and co-host of The Mom Panel, where she blends expert guidance with heartfelt conversations to support parents raising neurodivergent, apraxic, and complex kids.

Her work is personal and purpose-driven. Michelle is the mother of Drake, a child with a rare genetic disorder and childhood apraxia of speech. Navigating medical systems, IEPs, insurance barriers, therapies, and state-funded programs showed her just how overwhelming and isolating this journey can be. After walking it alone for too long, she made a promise: no parent should ever have to navigate this world without a guide or a team.

That calling led her to national visibility, including speaking for ApraxiaKids.com, where she shares lived experience, advocacy tools, and hope-filled direction for families searching for clarity and community.

  • Ep. 72- Tommy Kilpatrick- Nuke Your Credit Card Debt
    Nov 14 2025

Send a text to Ronnie Keith

Ep. 72 of Conversations with Iris Podcast has Iris sitting down with the amazing and fire blazing Tommy Kilpatrick. Don’t believe anything in this book. Take this book to your CPA and have s/he read the chapter “Act 1 Scene 1”, and hear from their own lips, that the bank could have never issued you a true credit card. This may be the first time your CPA has ever realized that their own bank-issued credit card is in reality a debit card.

Welcome to Tommy Kilpatrick's approach to dealing with bank-issued alleged credit card debt by challenging its legitimacy by sending a letter to the bank. According to Kilpatrick, he believes that bank-issued alleged credit card debt may be categorized as an "alleged debt," meaning he suggests it's legally disputable or even unenforceable if handled correctly. This is a must listen!

Ep. 71 of Conversations with Iris Podcast! Iris has the pleasure to sit down with Reasa Selph! Reasa Selph is an award-winning entrepreneur, business strategist, mother, and passionate advocate for patient safety. She is the founder of a successful marketing agency and was named Best Women Entrepreneur of North Texas as well as Business of the Year, recognized for her ability to lead and grow with resilience even in the face of personal hardship.

In December 2023, Reasa’s 11-year-old son Nicholas was sent home from a Dallas-area ER despite showing clear signs of sepsis. Two days later, he collapsed in septic shock and spent more than a month in intensive care at Cook Children’s, undergoing multiple surgeries to save his life.

Now 12, Nicholas lives with permanent injuries, and Reasa has turned her family’s fight into a mission: raising awareness about sepsis, hospital accountability, and the power of parents to advocate for their children. At the same time, she continues to champion small businesses through her agency, drawing from her own story of perseverance to help others grow with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Today, she joins us to share her family’s journey, the lessons learned as both a mother and entrepreneur, and why no parent — and no business owner — should have to walk through crisis alone.
