Welcome to or welcome back to Season 03 of the INNER AVENUE podcast 🏢🌏This time we have the pleasure of hearing from Hong Kong-born abstract artist and educator, Vera Chiu!
When you're from Southampton, it can be easy to forget our city is a port, and as Vera points out, many people pass through. I personally loved hearing how she found a sense of belonging here, as well as the courage she brings to her creative work as both an abstract artist and workshop facilitator. Vera is the captain of a calm and courageous ship - navigating complex emotion through her practice, and I highly recommend going to check out her solo exhibition 'Two Oceans Apart' this Spring!
