The newly released phone records give a disturbing inside look at Kohberger's life after the alleged attack and before his arrest.

Search history on Kohberger’s phone include videos of Ted Bundy, Britney Spears’ song “Criminal” and an eerie selfie captured on December 28, 2022, showing him gazing into the camera while wearing a black hoodie — similar to how Ted Bundy is dressed in a YouTube video that was searched on his device.

Also new details of the victim's grisly murder revealed. Ethan Chapin appears to be the last of the four to be targeted by the killer. allegedly Chapin was asleep in bed before his death and the perpetrator "carved" the victim's lower legs with a blade. Before targeting Chapin, the attacker chases and stabs Xana Kernodle, who was still awake after ordering food from DoorDash.
