All this, the result of my intense curiosity. It makes me always want to be better. That’s what this podcast is about. Learning from fascinating people so we can be a better version of ourselves.

    The first time we hung out, Wingnut showed me footage of bombs he’d dropped on an ISIS mortar team that was shelling fleeing women and children from a village.

    Obviously, he’s a U.S. Navy fighter pilot.  But more than that, he’s one of the sweetest, most thoughtful guys I’ve met.

    And I’ve always wanted to know, what is it like being a fighter pilot? The training.  Landing on a carrier for the first time.  What’s it like to break the sound barrier?  What’s it like to drop bombs on human beings?

    So we got together and I asked him my questions.  Like many in the military, he’s also a great storyteller.  I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
