The number of veterans moving into civilian cybersecurity careers has grown steadily over the last few years, providing a useful talent pool for organisations facing shortages of skilled staff.

But how easy is it, to move from the military into cybersecurity?

And what do veterans offer the industry? We speak to two former service personnel about their career journeys.

Most enterprises use at least some open source software. And when it comes to the cloud, most do.

But do developers and IT security teams have the skills to work with open source, and to ensure its security?
