Put Away the Body of Sin. We read in Romans chapter 6 verses 6 to 14, that our old person, our inner spirit, was crucified with Christ. This enabled us, in Christ, to put away the body of sin, which so plagued our lives. No longer were we to be slaves to sin, often doing things, we knew, were wrong. In Christ, all who have died, to themselves, have become free from sin. Because we died with Christ, we spiritually, are raised and are able to live with Him. Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Likewise, we being raised from the dead, also die no more. We live eternally. Because death no longer has dominion over the Lord and therefore death has no longer dominion over us. Jesus died to sin and lives forever more.
