    Catu Diosis is a DJ, producer and member of the Ugandan-based Nyege Nyege collective. Nyege Nyege are THE collective to know about, they have been redefining African electronic music since 2015 and continue to push it year on year. Catu is currently based between Germany and Uganda and weaves her knowledge of music with dance and performance to create the most memorable DJ sets for her fans around the world.


    In this episode Catu Diosis talks to Emily about how she learned how to DJ, getting stranded in Germany during the pandemic, her tour of Brazil and attending the famous Brazilian carnival for the first time.

As the co-founder of Night Slugs alongside Bok Bok and through his alter ego Dance System, L-Vis 1990 has forged a career that’s seen him play alongside some of the greatest electronic DJs of our generation but there was a cost. In this episode L-Vis 1990 talks to Emily about the dark side of club culture and how it took a toll on his mental health, DJing for Fatboy Slim and how he is supporting smaller venues around the UK.
