    It's our first live episode! This episode comes to you from Gilles Peterson's, We Out Here festival in the UK, where Emily caught up with DJ Yasmin.


    Yasmin is a DJ, singer/songwriter and the co-founder of Trippin, an online travel guide powered by a global community. Yasmin has worked with everyone from Major Lazer to Gordon City and Pharrell.


    In this episode Yasmin talks to Emily about the reality of being “a product” of major labels, why she swapped London for Mexico City and the importance of having more women in the music industry at all levels. There were also some great questions from our live audience.

    DJ Target is a broadcaster, author and producer. As a key figure of the UK Grime scene, he began his career as an original member of Pay As U Go Cartel as well as being a founding member of Roll Deep. He has played a fundamental role in creating Grime. DJ Target has hosted a radio show on BBC Radio 1Xtra since 2013 and he has been instrumental in championing new and underground talent.


    In this episode DJ Target talks to Emily about the regret of selling his prized possessions to none other than Dizzee Rascal, the impact of the legendary London dubplate studio, Music House and DJing in Ibiza for the first time.

    Nina Las Vegas is an Australian DJ, producer, label founder and broadcaster. She began her career at Australia’s leading youth radio station, triple j, where she championed underground dance music for nearly a decade. In 2015, Nina launched her own label, NLV Records, continuing her mission to spotlight underground sounds and shape the future of club music.
