À propos de cet audio
TW: This past February, I received the most shocking news in a very long time. I was standing in the kitchen making myself something to eat when I found out one of my closest friends had passed away unexpectedly. I was at a loss for words and I questioned God… a lot.
Grief is hard. It comes in waves. One minute you are ok but then one reminder, one song, one photo, one memory will trigger you in ways you may not expect. Although I took some time to grieve, it is still a process. Today I wanted to encourage those who may be mourning or grieving to stay in your word and to continue to trust in God. It may not always make sense, but thank God for Hs peace and His comfort. You are not alone in your feelings. It is okay to cry. It is ok to ask God questions that you may not understand. Believe that He grieves right along with you and is hurt when you hurt. In these times, it is important to lean closer to Jesus. Go to Him today and cast your cares upon Him. He’s waiting.
