Smooth jazz saxophonist Dee Lucas joins Carlaya’s Café to discuss his role as host of the Serente Jazz & Wine Escapes Smooth Jazz Series at Bootlegger Bistro.
In this interview, Dee Lucas previews the kickoff night of the new Thursday concert series, featuring a CD release performance by saxophonist Jakeim Joyner, curated wine selections, and a live band made up of some of Las Vegas’ most respected musicians. He shares what makes Serente Jazz & Wine Escapes unique, how wine and smooth jazz pair together, and why supporting live jazz experiences is so important to the local music community.
The Serente Jazz & Wine Escapes series takes place on select Thursdays inside the Copa Room at Bootlegger Bistro, blending smooth jazz performances with an intimate wine-tasting experience. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with showtime at 7:00 p.m.
