  • Discovering God's Heart for the Nations | Fall 2025 | Lesson 3
    Sep 4 2025

We were created for significance, but not for our own - we were made to bring glory to our Creator. From Genesis through Revelation, God's mission has always been to bless His people so they could be a blessing to all nations. True worship extends beyond singing to offering our entire lives as living sacrifices. God has blessed us with knowledge of Him, resources, and talents for a purpose: to call others to Him. Our true significance comes not from achievements or recognition, but from fulfilling God's purpose of bringing Him glory and drawing others to Him.

  • Formed by Grace | Fall 2025 | Lesson 3
    Sep 4 2025

Developing a heart for prayer begins with understanding Jesus' teaching to approach God as 'Our Father' rather than praying for show or using empty phrases. The Lord's Prayer provides a powerful framework that prioritizes God's glory before our needs. Through the Holy Spirit's help, we can pray honestly even when we lack words, knowing Jesus sympathizes with our weaknesses. The early church demonstrated devotion to prayer as both a proactive discipline and reactive response. Practical approaches like the ACTS model (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication) and praying Scripture can transform our prayer life from religious performance into genuine relationship with God.

  • Discovering God's Heart for the Nations | Fall 2025 | Lesson 2
    Aug 28 2025

God's plan from Genesis onward has always been global, calling all nations to Himself through His chosen people. Israel was established as a 'kingdom of priests' to represent God to other nations and draw them to worship Him. This priestly role continues with Christians today, who are called to represent God to the world, intercede through prayer, offer spiritual sacrifices, and live consecrated lives. God uses ordinary, imperfect people who say 'yes' to His mission, blessing them so they can be a blessing to others. Like the Sea of Galilee versus the Dead Sea, our spiritual lives thrive when we both receive and give God's blessings.
