  • The Letters - 1 Thessalonians Week 2 | This Is The Bible | Ministry That Stands
    Oct 30 2025
    Week #2 - 1 Thessalonians 2–3 - “Ministry That Stands”

In a culture driven by idols, power, and pleasure, Paul wrote to a young church that dared to live differently. The Thessalonian believers were born in the fire of persecution and raised in the furnace of faith, and through his letter, Paul shows us what it takes to build a ministry that stands.

In this message, Pastor Justin unpacks the anatomy of lasting ministry:
→ The Motives of Ministry; Why we serve.
→ The Methods of Ministry; How we serve.
→ The Mark of Ministry; What proves our service is real.
→ The Mission of Ministry; What keeps us serving.

Paul reminds us that ministry isn’t measured by applause, but by endurance.
When motives stay pure, methods stay loving, and faith stays firm; the mission thrives.

    Key Takeaways:
    • Faithfulness endures even when no one applauds.
    • The courage to serve comes from calling, not crowds.
    • Flattery builds fans, but truth builds faith.
    • Suffering isn’t failure, it’s fellowship with Christ.
    • The greatest reward of ministry is seeing others stand firm in Jesus.

We live in a generation addicted to proof; data before devotion, evidence before obedience, sight before surrender. But Jesus turns that upside down: “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

In this message, Pastor Justin teaches what it means to live a lifestyle of faith that keeps moving even when you can’t see the outcome. Through Thomas’ encounter with Jesus, we discover that real faith doesn’t demand proof, it produces peace.

    MESSAGE OUTLINE
    I. FAITH WITHOUT SEEING IS BLESSED
    • Faith pleases God (Hebrews 11:6)
    • Faith positions you for peace (Romans 5:1)
    • Faith produces enduring joy (1 Peter 1:8)

    II. TESTIMONY ENABLES FAITH
    • Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17)
    • Faith multiplies in community (Acts 4:33)
    • Faith overcomes through testimony (Revelation 12:11)

III. FAITH EQUIPS US WITH HOPE
    • Faith anchors hope (Hebrews 11:1)
    • Faith sustains hope in suffering (Romans 5:3–5)
    • Faith secures hope for the future (Romans 15:13)

    KEY TRUTH:
Faith reveals trust in God’s character.
Faith transfers the weight of control from your hands to His.
Faith celebrates the promise before it’s visible.

    Challenge:
    Meditate on God’s promises.
    Learn from testimonies of faith.
Live out your faith boldly, because your unseen trust speaks louder than visible proof.

  • The Letters - 1 Thessalonians Week 1 | This Is The Bible | The Church That Stands Strong
    Oct 23 2025
Welcome to our brand-new study through 1 Thessalonians, one of Paul’s earliest letters, and one of his most encouraging. Written to a young church facing pressure, persecution, and uncertainty, this chapter reveals what it means to be grounded in faith, growing in love, and glowing with hope in a world that needs real faith.

    📖 SERMON OVERVIEW

In 1 Thessalonians 1, Paul celebrates a church that didn’t just hear the gospel, they embodied it. Their faith worked, their love served, and their hope endured.
Here’s the blueprint for a church (and believer) that stands strong in every season:

    OUTLINE:
    I. A FAITHFUL CHURCH: Faith acts. Gratitude fuels faithfulness.
II. A CHOSEN CHURCH: Loved, chosen, and called by God before we ever performed for Him.
III. A SPIRIT-FILLED CHURCH: The Gospel doesn’t just inform, it transforms.
IV. A PROCLAIMING CHURCH: The Word of the Lord echoed from their lives into the world.
    V. A HOPEFUL CHURCH: They turned from idols to serve the living God and wait for Christ’s return.

    💡 KEY TRUTHS
    • Faith works: Conviction that acts.
    • Love serves: Compassion that costs.
    • Hope endures: Confidence that lasts.
    • Grace precedes peace: You can’t have peace until you’ve received grace.
    • When the Spirit fills a church, the world starts hearing about it.

    🙌 APPLICATION

A church grounded in faith doesn’t drift, it stands.
A church chosen by love doesn’t perform, it belongs.
A church filled with the Spirit doesn’t hide, it shines.
A church anchored in hope doesn’t fear, it endures.

Faith acts. Love serves. Hope endures.
That’s the kind of church, and believer, Jesus is coming back for.

    Unseen - Week 3 | John 20:19-29 NKJV
    “When Doubt Meets Jesus”

Every encounter with Jesus demands a response. In John 20, Thomas goes from “Unless I see…” to “My Lord and my God!”, proof that one moment with Jesus can turn doubt into devotion.

In this message, Pastor Justin explores three powerful truths about what happens when we encounter Jesus:

1️⃣ Encountering Jesus Transforms Doubt into Worship - When you see Him clearly, doubt doesn’t stand a chance.
2️⃣ Doubt Can Deepen Faith When Surrendered to Christ - A faith that can’t be tested can’t be trusted.
3️⃣ Faith Is a Personal Commitment - “My Lord and my God” isn’t just belief; it’s belonging.

We’ll also discover three ways to respond to Jesus today:
    • Demonstrate your hunger through worship.
    • Determine to pursue Him daily.
    • Declare your faith personally.

Because when it comes to Jesus; there is no neutral.
Thomas made his decision. What will yours be?

  • The Letters - Galatians Week 6 | This Is The Bible | How Freedom Grows Up
    Oct 17 2025
THIS IS THE BIBLE: THE LETTERS — Week #6
    Galatians 6:1–18 NLT
Message Title: “How Freedom Grows Up”

Freedom in Christ isn’t the end of the story; it’s the beginning of maturity. In the final chapter of Galatians, Paul shows us what grown-up freedom looks like: carrying others’ burdens, sowing what lasts, and clinging to the cross.

Throughout this series, we’ve watched Paul fight for the gospel of grace against both external persecution and internal drift. Now, he closes his letter reminding us that true freedom doesn’t make us independent; it makes us interdependent.

    CHAPTER 6 OUTLINE
    I. Carry Each Other’s Weight (6:1–5)
II. Cultivate What Will Last (6:6–10)
III. Continue in the Cross (6:11–18)

    Key Truths:
    • When you seek worth from others, you use people. When you find worth in Christ, you serve people.
    • You can share a burden, but you can’t outsource obedience.
    • Every choice is a seed; plant to the Spirit and reap what only eternity can measure.
    • The cross cancels your sin, not your responsibility.

Paul’s final words echo the same grace he began with:
“May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.” (Gal. 6:18)

Galatians began with a fight for freedom but ends with a call to faithfulness.

    👉 Don’t add to grace.
    👉 Don’t drift from truth.
👉 Don’t stop walking in the Spirit.

There’s a difference between knowing about Jesus and encountering Him personally. Thomas, the disciple often labeled “Doubting”, shows us what happens when faith moves from theory to reality.

In this message, Pastor Justin unpacks how Jesus transforms skepticism into surrender, fear into faith, and questions into worship.

Just like Thomas, you don’t have to stay stuck in doubt—Jesus meets you right where you are.

    Message Highlights:
    1. Put Yourself in the Room; You can’t encounter what you continually avoid.
    2. Position Yourself Near Jesus; He walks through walls to reach the willing.
    3. Participate in the Experience; Faith becomes real when you stop spectating and start engaging.

➡️ Big Truth: Information can impress you. Only an encounter with Jesus can transform you.
If you’ve ever wrestled with questions, doubts, or distance from God; this message will remind you that Jesus doesn’t condemn your doubt; He invites you closer.

  • The Letters - Galatians Week 5 | This Is The Bible | Don't Waste Your Freedom
    Oct 15 2025
THIS IS THE BIBLE: THE LETTERS
    Week #5 – Galatians 5:1–26 NLT
    “Don’t Waste Your Freedom”

    This Week's Handout: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P_1IiGgH47lhiEdTbjBcPTtoTPQ6nOe4/view?usp=drive_link

Freedom is one of the most celebrated words in our culture; we fight for it, sing about it, and even die for it. But once we have it… most people don’t know what to do with it.
In Galatians 5, Paul reminds us that Christ didn’t set us free so we could waste that freedom; He set us free so we could walk in it.

This chapter shifts from doctrine to application. Paul moves from explaining what freedom in Christ is, to showing how to live it out every day.

    SERMON OVERVIEW
Ch. 1–2: The Gospel Defended (Biographical)
Ch. 3–4: The Gospel Explained (Theological)
Ch. 5–6: The Gospel Applied (Practical)

In Galatians 5, Paul outlines four ways to live as people who are truly free:
    1. Live Free, Not in Chains (5:1–6)
Don’t go back to what Christ already broke. Freedom must be guarded; fought for, not forfeited.
    2. Live Guarded, Not Gullible (5:7–12)
Don’t let lies, distractions, or false teachers derail your race. The enemy doesn’t have to stop you; just sidetrack you.
    3. Live Loving, Not Selfish (5:13–15)
Freedom isn’t a license to sin; it’s an invitation to serve.
“Faith expressing itself in love” is how real freedom looks.
    4. Live Spirit-Led, Not Self-Driven (5:16–26)
The Holy Spirit doesn’t ride shotgun; He leads.
The flesh manufactures sin; the Spirit cultivates fruit:
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

    KEY TAKEAWAYS
    • Freedom isn’t automatic; it must be protected, defended, and expressed.
    • Freedom without love is chaos; freedom without the Spirit is illusion.
    • Christ didn’t set you free for a weekend; He set you free for life.
    • The Spirit-filled life is the only way to stay free.

    CHALLENGE
    1. Examine your chains — What are you still clinging to that Jesus already broke?
    2. Examine your race — What’s cutting in and slowing you down?
    3. Examine your heart — Is your freedom serving self or God’s kingdom?
    4. Examine your walk — Are you following the Spirit or your impulses?

Freedom isn’t just what you get; it’s what you do.
Don’t waste it. Live it. Walk by the Spirit.

When life’s disappointments and unanswered prayers make you question God, what do you do with your doubt? In this message, Pastor Justin reminds us that doubt isn’t the end of faith — it’s often the beginning of deeper faith.

Through the story of Thomas, we discover that doubt can become a doorway to encounter Jesus, not a reason to run from Him. Learn how to bring your honest questions to God, re-engage with the faith community, and recall His past faithfulness when unbelief tries to take over.

Main Truth: Doubt is not the opposite of faith — it’s the tension that can strengthen it.

Key Scripture: John 20:24–25 (NLT) — “I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in his hands…”

    Message Highlights:
    1. Doubt is common, even among disciples.
    2. Honest doubt can be expressed to God - He can handle your “unless.”
    3. Community testimony challenges unbelief and fuels faith.

    Takeaway:
When Satan invites you to doubt, Jesus invites you to believe. Your doubt doesn’t disqualify you — it can awaken you.
