    Oct 30 2025

We have a big show for you this week! First, we've got a boat-load of news about the Future of Doctor Who, including the end of the Disney+ deal, updates on The War Between the Land and the Sea, announcement of a 2026 Christmas special, and a mention of the new animated pre-school series. • DWAZ #92 - "LOGOPOLIS" (1981)
    Oct 15 2025

"It's a new episode . . . but the moment has been prepared for." This week Ashley, Josh and Alan visit the Pharos Project to discuss the final Fourth Doctor story, "Logopolis" written by the recently departed Christopher H. Bidmead, directed by Peter Grimwade, and starring Tom Baker, Matthew Waterhouse, Sarah Sutton, Janet Fielding, and Anthony Ainley. And let me tell ya . . . this one definitely divided opinion.

But first we talk about the state of the franchise after the inexplicable Billie Piper cliffhanger and where the show might go from there, plus some possible missing episodes news!

  • DWAZ #91 - "VAMPIRE WEEKEND" (2025)
    Sep 25 2025

This week Ashley, Josh and Alan pay another visit to the world of Big Finish, this time for the debut of their new Thirteenth Doctor line! "Vampire Weekend" written by Tim Foley and directed by Ken Bentley, stars Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill stepping back into their roles as the Thirteenth Doctor and Yasmine Khan. It's Gina's hen-do and her Maid of Honour has booked a large manor in the Peak District. All her friends should be here - including Yasmin Khan, who's been mysteriously quiet whilst away on her travels. It promises to be a great weekend -- until the Doctor crashes the party!

First, we talk about two events we held in recent weeks and the return of Doctor Who to BBC Television!!!! (okay in the form of reruns of the Matt Smith episodes on BBC 3, but still....)
