Pain has a way of showing up at the most inconvenient times, and this holiday season was no exception. I share the story of a recurring cyst that flared right before Thanksgiving and how it pulled me back to a difficult chapter from a decade ago. Instead of letting fear write the script, I leaned into faith, acceptance, and practical support—choosing to participate in family joy while honoring what hurt.
