À propos de cet audio
🎙️ What does it mean to be Dance Strong?
It means flipping the script on injury in the dance world:
🩰 No more hiding pain.
💪 No more silence.
❤️ Putting your health first—so you can keep moving, performing, and thriving.
In this episode, we’re joined by Dr. Maile Bay-Jacques, a physical therapist passionate about helping dancers and athletes build resilience, recover from injury, and unlock their full potential.
Dr. Bay graduated from UC Santa Barbara (B.S. Biology, 2006) and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from USC (2009). As an OCS, CSCS, and specialist in dance therapy, pilates, yoga, and blood flow restriction training, she combines science with mindful movement to empower her patients.
🌟 “I Am Dance Strong” is more than a phrase—it’s a movement close to our heart. Tune in to hear Dr. Bay’s story, insights, and how she’s helping dancers everywhere stay strong—onsite or via Telehealth.
