Evans Bailey was born and raised in McAlester, OK. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1985 with a BA in Parks and Recreation Administration. He has worked in natural resources management across the state for city, county and state agencies. Evans has served as a Park Ranger, Park Naturalist, Park Manager and Environmental Programs Manager during his 36-year career. He retired from the Oklahoma Dept. of Environmental Quality in January 2023. Evans and his wife, Susan, have been married for 44 years. They have two daughters, two sons-in-law and three grandchildren. Evans volunteers at his church, Baptist Disaster Relief and a local nature center. Growing up in southeastern Oklahoma, he has had a life-long interest in the bigfoot creatures. He joined the North Canadian River Project in 2015 and has been a volunteer Field Investigator for the Native Oklahoma Bigfoot Research Organization for seven years. Be a LEGEND!
