In this meditation, Fr Gavan reflects on the mid-morning hymn “Custodi mentem Ordinata”, traditionally prayed at Terce—the third hour of the day, around 9am. Rooted in the moment of Pentecost, this hymn invites us to recognise God’s sacred order woven into the rhythm of time. Through faith, hope and charity, we are called to become a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit, even in the midst of daily work.
