Ep 72: Finding Her Stride: A Life Update
Episode summary:
Jen is solo today bringing us some life updates. From bladder surgery to her running journey to how Feldenkrais and sober curiosity changed her outlook, Jen fills us in on what’s been on her mind and calendar lately.
Jen opens up about her journey through a challenging injury at Boston, some unexpected bladder issues, and how a simple Instagram post led her to discover Feldenkrais. She also explores the surprising connection she found between her running journey, Feldenkrais, and her decision to stop drinking.
And on that note, Jen’s new group Sober Sisters, a welcoming space for women to show up as they are and connect in an alcohol-free environment, would love to see you at their next event on Thursday 12/11! It’s free and it’s Feldenkrais!
As always, we'd love to hear from you, so please send any feedback or episode requests our way!
Favorite Quotes:
“Feldenkrais is the antithesis to pushing and striving.”
“If I do start noticing that my old patterns might be creeping back into my body, I know that I can go to Feldenkrais and I can kind of unwind myself to a degree and get back into better form.”
