À propos de cet audio
Annually, over 300,000 students take advantage of the opportunity to study abroad in over 3800 cultural communities. While the benefits of international travel are abundant, study abroad is not without its risks. When considering study abroad, these risks must be taken into consideration when choosing a program and a destination. In this episode, we speak with Roz & Elizabeth, two moms who both lost their sons in tragic accidents while studying abroad. We also have Carrie Pasquarello, author and victim advocate who took her overseas experience with the State Department and turned it into a platform to help others navigate safe travel.
