When you think "beauty queen" you may think about big hair, beautiful gowns, perfectly posed walks and of course, big crowns but do ever think hard work, fear of rejection and failure? The reigning Mrs. Tri-cities Naomia May is an amazing mom, wife and real-life beauty queen! She also happens to be my executive assistant and one of my favorite people. As she prepares to compete in the Mrs. Washington pageant next month, she is giving us an inside look into how she has overcome a deep fear of rejection to find strength and confidence through pageantry.
