With the introduction of new initiatives such as rehab-based programs, meaningful activities, and effective communication, we are seeing positive changes in the day-to-day of prison life. We’ve started to go beyond the traditional roles of guards and inmates and are now seeing roles such as peer mediators, teachers, and counselors.
