In the 36th episode we are joined by tabletop designers and writers John Wick (Legend of the Five Rings, 7th Sea, Houses of the Blooded, Orkworld, Blood & Honor) and Pat Edwards (The Red Opera, The Black Ballad, Songs of Chaos, Universal Soldier RPG) to talk all about Tabletop Roleplaying Games, or TTRPGs. In this episode we dive into what exactly a TTRPG is, and how we use dice to tell stories with them. In the next two episodes we'll get more indepth on various games and RPG "systems" (and what that means), what a Vampire Hunter D TTRPG would look like, and discuss some popular Japanese TRPGs that are getting translated into English for the first time.
