On this episode, we visit with 1st-year radiologic technology students Ivy Peed and Garrett Shipman, and our new instructor to the program, Laura Rider, as part of our National Rad Tech Week celebration. The group shares their experiences and the perks of the program, particularly lab and textbook lessons to then real-world application within a few short weeks. We also discuss the importance of patient care at all levels and address some of the rumors and realities of the program which additionally serves as a gateway toward many specialties.
