 An anonymous follower and her husband are trying to teach their son to live simply by providing him with toys made of wood or fabric. However, Anonymous’ mother-in-law refuses to cooperate with the couple’s wishes. Instead, she continues to buy her grandson hundreds of dollars of noisy, plastic toys. She called her son and daughter-in-law “boring” and said that she wanted to be “the fun grammy.”

They give Anonymous advice on how to respond with integrity and honesty while standing up and saying “no” to the gifts.
