 Stories matter! My story, your story, your cities story, the Old Testament stories and the collective story of the Body of Christ, they all matter. We know in Scripture that Jesus taught His disciples by speaking in parables. What is a parable? It is a story. Hebrews 13:8 tells us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. With that truth in mind, let’s ask some questions. Does Jesus still teach His disciples by speaking in parables? Could the stories of our lives be the parables by which He teaches us? If we choose to see our stories through the lens of the Lord’s perspective He will show us how He has been with us from the beginning and how each of our stories can be used to teach us who He is. The Lord is faithful and has been revealing Himself to you through all the moments of your life. In this episode we explore the importance of having a willingness to surrender every moment to Him, and to declare that there are no coincidences.
