Christine RaeBishop is the owner of Crafty Crops, a Scrapbooking Retreat Center in Fairview Heights, IL. She’s a scrapbooking and die cutting expert who held true to her vision through setbacks and challenges. For many years, Christine and her husband Don dreamed about building a house and retreat center and through many setbacks, they held true to that vision, making it a reality. Now, the retreat center is thriving and about 90% of their guests are repeat customers. In our discussion, Christine and I discuss some of the ins and outs of running a retreat center, how to have great customer service, selling craft supplies, and using our past to shape our future.
