Advent, which means “coming” or “arrival,” invites us to reflect not only on the birth of Christ but also on the hope of His return. Hope, peace, joy, and love—all found in Jesus—and how traditions like lighting candles or using Advent calendars can help us remember these truths. What struck me most was Pastor Jesse’s encouragement to embrace the restorative power of Christ, to love our neighbors, and to “come home” to God’s love this Christmas.
