In 3×15, "Galvanize," we meet child murderer William Barrow and, somehow, that's not the most disturbing thing about him. After escaping hospital custody via belly-full-of-flies (don't ask), he ends up on a greatest-hits-tour of Beacon Hills, ending up—where else?—but Beacon Hills High School.

Elsewhere, Scott and Stiles decide to make Coach's life a little more interesting during Mischief Night via office dissolution and Allison and Isaac maybe, kinda, sorta let loose a little of their romantic tension. The twins are back and want to join Scott's pack, and no one's sure if it's a good idea. Scott comes to Kira's house for dinner, Mr. Yukimura suggests Kira could date the coyote (we're in favor! Malira 4ever!), and Lydia keeps hearing flies.

This episode offers lots of good advice like: don't eat a whole chunk of wasabi at once; don't get kidnapped by a child murderer; and if you need to scream, let it out.

So, wait—this isn't the National Geographic channel?

In 3×14, "More Bad Than Good," the gang goes coyote hunting! Well, more accurately, they go coyote tracking, before Malia's father accidentally traps a kid (or his coyote daughter) in a bear trap.

(Spoiler alert: someone gets caught in a bear trap.)

Allison and Stiles are still very much suffering from the great heart darkness, while Scott seems to have mostly gotten over his. Derek gets rescued by a very helpful ally, but Peter may not get to come along. Get ready for silly, dog-related shenanigans, Kira being unbelievably cute, and some very excellent Stydia and Allisaac moments.

Time to add a new face to the pack!

So, who's ready to talk about The Darkness Around Our Hearts?

What—you neither?

In 3×13 “Anchors,” Stiles is having dreams about Lydia and nightmares about doors, only to wake up and find he can't exactly read. Scott's attempting to transform at random, his shadow giving away his superpower, eyes flashing red, and he's feeling completely out of control.

(That is, except with the case of his best bud and roomie for life, Isaac—with whom he, uh—lets out a little Allison-related aggression.)

Allison's being plagued with memories of her Aunt Kate, who tries at one point to crawl out of a morgue drawer. Her steady bowman's hands can't hold a paintbrush or, it turns out, a bow, resulting in a near death experience for Miss Lydia Martin.

But yeah, they're fine. Totally fine.

We're introduced to an adorkable new love interest who's just as smiley about death as she is about everything else, including her new history teacher of a father. The sheriff's got a murder board (like father, like son), Special Agent Asshole is back, and Scott and Stiles go back into the woods to try and find a dead body. Again.

Oh, and Peter and Derek are tied to a chain link fence. For very important, plot-related reasons.

What happens to werewolves on the lunar eclipse? I hope it makes us stronger.

In 3×12, "Lunar Eclipse," Scott, Stiles, and Allison finally discover the location of the Nemeton, which definitely doesn't want to be found. Stiles and Allison, along with Isaac, find and rescue the parents in the Nemeton's root cellar, making the surrogate sacrifice worth it. Jennifer fights off against the Alphas, killing Kali and wounding the twins, making off in the night after Deucalion.

Will Derek and Scott help Jennifer with her ultimate quest for revenge? Does Scott actually become a True Alpha? Does Peter ever get past screaming very emotional lines directly into the camera?

In 3×11, "Alpha Pact," our characters must make some incredibly difficult choices to secure the safety of the ones they love. Scott is working with Deucalion to find his mother who has been kidnapped by Jennifer as a Guardian sacrifice, officially siding with the villain. Chris gives himself over to the Darach as the third and final Guardian sacrifice (in front of Allison and Isaac, no less!) to attempt to save Melissa and the Sheriff.

Morrell reveals some interesting, murder-y information about Deucalion and he is not pleased, obviously. Peter politely walks Derek to the emotional edge and Derek officially sacrifices his Alpha Spark to save his sister Cora. Oh, Derek.

However, all of this pales in comparison to the ritual in which Scott, Stiles, and Allison allow themselves to become surrogate sacrifices to save their parents. Come on, there's literally no other answer? Permanent darkness around your heart? Turning Beacon Hills back into a beacon for supernatural creepy crawlies? No one thought of anything better?

Also, this is the episode with the elevator scene. So, praise be.

Welcome back, Gleeks. You've made it to Part 2 of our look back at the 5x12, "100" - the 100th episode of Glee. We pick up right where we left off — the New Directions are still on life support, the Diva-Off is allegedly still a thing, and Rachel is still allergic to lasting character development.

💥 Part 2 Plot? Yeah, sure:

• Mercedes finally tells Rachel that she’s the voice in her head that whispers doubt. Rachel responds with a line that’s basically “that sucks, I’m famous.” Classic Rachel Berry.

• We get a “Defying Gravity” reprise that sparks no joy from us, a voting scene that makes no sense, and an immediate group decision to ignore the vote altogether. Classic Choir Room.

• Coach Sue reveals Mr. Schue spent $2 million on nonsense like Katy Perry jungle sets and costumes, so the club is dead and in debt. Classic Mr. Schue.

• April and Holly attempt a last-minute Glee Club rescue powered by vibes, fraud, and whatever’s in April’s bedazzled flask. Classic, April Rhodes.

But amidst the chaos of the 100th episode, one thing is certain: the Unholy Trinity are still perfect.

Welcome back to Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital, where nothing good ever happens—ever.

In 3×10, "The Overlooked," the gang is trapped in the hospital between a rock and a hard place. Cora is very sick and Derek and Peter need Jennifer's help to cure her. But Jennifer won't help unless the werewolves protect her from the Alphas, who have finally come calling. We finally learn about Jennifer Blake's backstory—her history with Kali of the Alpha Pack, her past as an Emissary, and the sacrifices she's made to seek her revenge.

Unfortunately, we end the episode on Jennifer's next pick for a sacrifice and the decisions the pack will make to ensure they get home safely.

Buckle up, Gleeks—it’s the 100th episode, which means Glee is throwing everything at the wall to see what sings. Sticks! To see what sticks. This is a no-pun zone (allegedly). We’ve got a chaotic double-feature recap for you because everyone showed up for this one and we talked too long, so you’re getting Part 1 and Part 2. The algorithm says no one wants 2.5-hour episodes 🤷‍♀️.

In Part 1 of this very special (read: unhinged) 100th episode, New Directions is being shut down for real this time (no, seriously—for real), and suddenly everyone who graduated three years ago but never emotionally left is back in the choir room. Quinn’s here, Puck’s lurking, Mercedes is glowing, and Santana is serving full sass-per-minute per SAG-AFTRA guidelines.

💥 Plot? Technically, yes:

• Sue’s destroying the glee club because she hates joy. Or music. Or teenagers. It’s unclear.

• Will is spiraling but trying to disguise it as leadership.

• Everyone’s singing songs we’ve already heard, now with 50% more nostalgia filters and wistful glances. (Spoiler: the OG versions were better.)

• Rachel wants to rewrite history (again), Mercedes isn’t having it (again), and a sing-off happens that is somehow both unnecessary and essential to our healing.

• Puck and Quinn have tension—the kind that says “we’ve made questionable choices before and might again”—and everyone agrees to just look the other way.

🎭 In short: Everyone is reflecting on how far they’ve come by pretending they never left. It’s self-indulgent, over-the-top, and completely on brand.

The glee club is dying but not quietly. And neither are we.
