  • Episode 70- My Conversation With Ken Wortley About The Book of Secrets.
    Dec 21 2025
In this episode, I had a conversation with about his book the Gospel of Secrets. Ken is the bestselling author of The Gospel of Secrets: A Memoir of Truth, Liberation, and Love, and a former pastor with two decades spent guiding communities in the U.S. Through his memoir and advocacy, Ken has inspired countless people to embrace self-worth and inner peace as both LGBTQ+ and people of faith. His own transformation—from hiding his true identity to living openly with authenticity and spiritual integrity—is a story of real liberation, breaking cycles of shame, and learning to trust yourself even when tradition says otherwise. we talked about the importance of once you heal and recover and you accept yourself as far as the true and real version of yourself you're never gonna go back to the illusion version of yourself. we talked about how so many people are living a lie, and covering up the real version of themselves. And how that is never a good thing to do. This conversation was an absolute phenomenal conversation. I'm glad that I did the conversation with him because there are millions of people that are hiding the true version of themselves because their parents will never accept the fact that they are gay. And the freedom when people finally admits to not own themselves, but to other people the real version of themselves. We also talk about how people in the gay community are treated when it comes to the church. And how he went from a pastor, to a husband, father, to his discovery of realizing that he was a gay man. This conversation is something that I hope helps millions of people that are struggling with the real version of who they are when it comes to being a gay or lesbian individual. And it's time for us to really have these true conversations about this topic. Especially when it comes to spirituality, and how people use it as a weapon against these types of people. And I think the one thing about being the real version of yourself that is the very beginning of your recovery and healing is once you learn to accept and appreciate the real version of yourself regardless of who doesn't.

  • Episode 69- Trusting God_s Process Through Our Lowest and Weakest Moments_
    Dec 15 2025
In this episode, I talk about the importance of God and Jesus process when it comes to our healing recovery at a lowest, weakest, and most vulnerable moments. How we have to not feed into the negativity that is of the world that is going to manipulate, influence, lead you astray, bamboozled, scam, con, and lie to you into doing something that goes against everything that is right to do something wrong. How are you have to trust God‘s process when it comes to keeping you away from the temptations of the seven deadly sins that is going to destroy, cause chaos, trauma, destruction, depression, anxiety in your life, due to the consequences, repercussions, and karma of your actions, behavior, decisions, and choices based upon your feelings. It is hard in today’s society to let the high power lead you to some of your darkest situations because the devil is putting influences, and feeding your wants and desires. And what I learned through this journey of my healing your recovery through God‘s leadership through Jesus guidance, which is led me to a new and better person through God‘s version of healing and recovery through Jesus guiding me through my darkest hours and situations. This version of healing and recovery is not easy. And it certainly is not for the faint of heart, but the end result is worth all of the trials and tribulations that I went through with God‘s leadership in Jesus guidance that led me to the other side to become the new and better godly person that I have become.

  • Episode 66- The importance of being completely honest with God_
    Nov 23 2025
In this episode, I’m gonna be discussing the Bible scripture Psalms 139:23 when it comes to the importance of being completely and totally honest with God when it comes to the good and the bad things that you have done. The importance of asking for forgiveness, repentance for your wrongs, making amends for the things that you have done to the people who you have wronged, and forgiving those who have wronged you. The one thing about talking to God is completely different than praying to God. Because praying to God can be more so about worship and praising him, and asking him for things. Where as talking to God is having a complete conversation about the most vulnerable, insecure, and scary things that you’re asking him to help you through. Being completely honest with him when it comes to the conversation that you have with him about your fears, doubts, wants, needs, and asking him to help you through the situations that are holding you back from your greatness. The things that you’re not sure as far as what direction that you need to take. #spiritualawakening #healingjourney #recoveryjourney

  • Episode 65 - If Jesus Wasn’t Accepted, What Makes You Think You Would Be As A Godly Person?
    Nov 18 2025
In this episode, I’m talking about the fact that Jesus was not accepted by a lot of people. And those same people not only backstabbed him and betrayed him, they also falsely accused him of crimes that he never committed. His crucifixion was worse than any person in histories, death could ever be. And yet even through his crucifixion, he still forgave all the people that not only had wronged and betrayed him, but the people who were falsely accusing him of crimes that he did not commit which caused his crucifixion. And so when I think about the crucifixion of Jesus, I think about all the people who have been falsely accused, bullied, harassed, threatened, and done wrong by people that didn’t deserve the treatment negatively that they received. And we have to learn how to accept the fact that no matter what we do as godly people, negative people will always try to ruin our reputations, slander our names, and try to defend our characters to the point of where we end up having low self-esteem, self value, self-worth, self-respect, self-confidence, and not believing in ourselves due to these negative people‘s opinion, thoughts, and opinions of us. So this podcast episode is all about where is Godly people being crucified every day for walking in the path that God has placed us own, and doing God’s work. It’s really hard being a golly person and doing the right thing with negativity is everywhere as far as the influences, and negative people that are manipulating, bamboozling, and leading people astray to doing negative things that goes against everything‘s right do something wrong. So if we don’t work on our spiritual healing in recovery, the rest of the healing and recovery doesn’t matter if we can’t maintain it. So if we can maintain our spiritual healing in recovery, then we can maintain every other part of the recovery that we have to overcome.

  • Trusting God with your fears, and insecurities.
    Nov 8 2025
In this episode, I discussed the importance of trusting God with your end of securities, and fears that you have when it comes to things that you’re not good at, and are afraid of. Even though we have things that we are afraid of, and people making us not feel that we’re good enough, or worthy, or even belong, what matters is this is how God sees us as individuals. Sometimes we have to trust the process that God has us going through. Sometimes we have to trust that the direction, path, purpose, and journey that he has a song is gonna take us to our blessings, and the people that are meant to be in our lives and our community. Trusting the process when it comes to being successful, and the work that is gonna take to make that happen. But if your faith in God is a strong as you claim it to be as a godly person, then you will trust the process.
