    On the Sabbath, Jesus meets a man with a withered hand and restores him with a word. As we return to Luke's gospel after a break over the summer months, we see in this passage that the Lord’s Day isn't about box-ticking rules but about mercy, restoration and life. The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath and when He speaks, withered things live again.
