Freak Slug is the project of multi-disciplinary artist Xenya Genovese, from Manchester. In 2025, she has been making waves across Australia, the UK, Europe, and the US with a series of standout festival and tour appearances. Creating music that blends 90s rock influences with dreamy, experimental sounds, her latest EP, Loose Tooth and a Short Skirt, has established her as one of the most exciting emerging alternative acts.
