À propos de cet audio

From This Place draws inspiration from Isaiah 55:9-11, where the prophet envisions a future in which, "My [God's] word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” This verse reveals a core biblical pattern: God speaks not from nowhere, but from somewhere. His Word arises in real places—Jerusalem then, North St. Louis now—and moves outward. In this vision, the city is not forgotten or discarded but becomes a source of instruction and life. That same prophetic imagination shapes the heart of this podcast. From This Place proclaims that the Gospel still rises from real streets, real churches, and real communities.
