June 21st 1996. 20-year-old Karina Holmer from Sweden came to Boston for a summer of adventure and working for an American family. In her letters she wrote to family and friends back home, she wrote about how happy she was. Then the letters became darker. After living in the US for just 3 months, her partial remains were found, leaving behind one of Bostons’ most chilling, unsolved mysteries.

August 18th, 2010. 30-year-old Ben McDaniel, an experienced but uncertified cave diver, heads into the clear blue waters of Vortex Spring, Florida, just before sunset. For two days, no one notices he hasn’t come back until they see his truck is still in the parking lot. A search begins and divers find his tanks deep inside the cave… but no Ben or his equipment.
