Fun Fanny Fact Friday 🍑
Did you know your pelvic floor muscles aren’t just about holding in a wee on the drive home — they can actually make (or break) your sex life? 👀✨
Here’s the lowdown:
💪 Strong pelvic floor muscles = more blood flow, better nerve activity, and yes… more intense orgasms.
💦 Regular pelvic floor workouts (yep, we’re talking Kegels done right) can mean better bladder and bowel health AND a lower risk of pelvic organ prolapse.
🙅♀️ BUT — too much of a good thing is real. If your pelvic floor is overactive (aka stuck in permanent squeeze-mode), sex can become painful, tampons tricky, and even using the loo uncomfortable. That’s where pelvic floor physiotherapy comes in — learning to release is just as important as learning to clench.
The takeaway? Your pelvic floor deserves as much love as your biceps. Train it daily, but remember: it’s about balance, not a constant squeeze. 🧘♀️
