À propos de cet audio

For women whose lives aren’t going quite the way they planned. Through an ADHD diagnosis, marriage break up, parenting struggles or the realisation that the version of you the world sees is no longer the version you want to be.

Anita Carr - storyteller, truth spiller and certified expert in turning chaos into clarity hosts Further. More, a podcast about starting over, rewriting your story and finding joy, even in the messy middle.

We talk identity shifts, ADHD, relationships, motherhood and what it takes to blow up the life that no longer fits - and build something better.

So if you’ve ever felt untethered, unseen or like you’ve lost your way, this space is for you. Because going back isn’t an option. The only way is further… and more.

  • 3 things I learnt from my ADHD Coach
    Nov 29 2025

    Send us a text

ADHD can be such a hard thing to live with.

The key is to manage it the best way for YOU and to have strategies and tools in place that actually work. That’s where an ADHD Coach can be so beneficial.

I have used an ADHD coach for 5 years on and off. And the strategies have been so useful and I still use them to this day.

Episode 10 I talk about the 3 things that I have learnt from my ADHD coach Carolyn Verhoef from Outside the Box ADHD Coaching.

We recorded an episode but the audio had issues, so I recapped our chat for today’s episode.

    We talked about:

    * Finding purpose & making your life count for something

    * Why we people please

    * How we can help a friend struggling with their ADHD

    * The top things you can do today to reduce ADHD symptoms

How many ghosts from your past are still haunting you?

In today’s episode we explore how we can finally release those niggling things that replay in our mind, things that may have hurt us or situations we didn’t get closure from.

I talk about some painful experiences that I finally let go of after years of holding on and trying to find answers.

Key takeaways from this episode include:

💛 3 questions to ask yourself to gain some awareness first

💛 How being curious instead of judgemental can zoom out the lens and allow us to have empathy for those who may have hurt us

💛 Practice gratitude for what we gained rather than what we may have lost
