They go on to talk about the differences between New World and other MMOs, as it relates to gathering.

On the surface, having access to everything can make the crafting, refining, and gathering systems seem “bland” or “easy,” but Ronal and MTB talk about how having access to everything and how connected they are actually leads to interesting decisions.
