“Jesus said to him, ‘If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me!’” John 21:22

Comparison is such an easy trap to fall into on your journey with the Lord. It can be tempting to follow in someone else’s footsteps, or even to be judgmental when someone else is following God differently than you are. But Jesus is saying to us the same thing He said to Peter in John 21:22, “What’s it to ya? You follow Me.”

Join the Busses for a life-changing discussion about the importance of simply following Jesus, what to do when you’ve been offended, and how to battle the accuser of the brethren. Your destiny in God is unique, and He wants to partner with you in your uniqueness in these last days. So don’t take your orders from how God is leading someone else. What is it that God has put us here to do? We can often feel like we ought to be doing something in order to make God pleased with us. But God didn’t make us to be human doings—He made us human beings! Dorothy Riedford is a new friend to the Busses who recently dropped in for a visit, and her testimonies were too good not to share! Dorothy has had a personal, conversational relationship with the Lord for as long as she can remember. After spending some time in marketplace ministry as a young woman, God led her on a great adventure through Europe where she experienced His faithfulness and provision firsthand as she walked in obedience to Him. More recently, Dorothy was in the midst of a battle with depression and suicide when she discovered the love of the Jesus in a way that she’d never known before. The key to her overcoming was profoundly simple, though not easy—learning to be loved.

Dorothy’s testimonies will encourage you to know that as you’re running with God, His presence, love, and provision runs with you!
