  • Behind the Soundboard With Camden and Mitchell
    Jun 20 2025

When we stepped into our current sanctuary in November 2022—awestruck by its soaring ceilings, original woodwork, and open chancel—we never imagined we’d soon be recording services, operating a sound board, using mics, running an AV computer, and even livestreaming special events.

Thanks to the generosity of church members who donated equipment and supported this vision, we've gone from having almost no technology to a functional and growing system. While we’re still blending older gear with newer tools, we’re making it work—and learning a lot along the way.

This week, A/V Technicians Mitchell Peck and Camden McKinley pull back the curtain to show how they blend old and new equipment to make worship come to life, one mic check and camera angle at a time.

They’ll share the behind-the-scenes strategies, creative fixes, and teamwork it takes to deliver a service that’s meaningful both in person and online.
