À propos de cet audio
In today's episode, Britney talks about adoption, finding her birth parents, and how it affected her life throughout. She walks us through finding out at age 5 she was adopted, how it affected her life, and finding and meeting her birth parents. It's courageous to make a decision to give up a child you don't think you can provide a life for. It's courageous to adopt a child knowing that one day, they will have questions and want to find missing pieces. It takes so much love for everyone involved. I admire the strength it takes to choose adoption. I'm thankful for those who have the resources and ability to provide for children who need homes. What a true gift to children to have family.
Nelson Mandela: "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear." Oliver Wendell Holmes: "Have the courage to act instead of react." Ovid: "Courage conquers all things: it even gives strength to the body."
