The 50th Anniversary of “The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald”
    was November 10, 2025.

This is a Podcast Classic from June 2024 when Phil sat with Ray "Seadawg" Mann, a fellow Baymen Men’s Club member, who spent a career at sea in the Merchant Marines.

Now, Gordon Lightfoot wrote and sang the song “The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald” but Ray was there that fateful day on the SS Arthur Anderson following that doomed ship. In this interview, Ray talks about what it was like growing up sailing on the Long Island Sound, his time in the Merchant Marine Academy, and his first voyage on Lake Superior after graduating from the Academy.

    This is a must listen.
