Earle "Marty" Combs recently went viral online after waking up at 4:00am in his home in Boulder, Colorado to check on a loud noise that had come from his kitchen.

What he didn't know as he walked down the stairs with his AR-15 is that a black bear had broken in through a window, ripped his trash can out of his cabinet, and was rifling through the contents on the floor.

After spotting the bear with his weapon light it immediately charged him. Marty put 7 well-placed rounds into the bear before it could get to him, dropping it on the spot.
